God does have loving thoughts of Peace for His children to give them their reward and inheritance when He gathers ALL His children back together again. It is written in His everlasting covenant, it is our “expected end”. The scripture in Jeremiah 29:11 is often quoted to encourage us but we should also realize and remember what Jesus told us in John 16:33 too.

Both scriptures still apply to God’s children but it doesn’t mean that we won’t face difficulties. We are refined and strengthened by our trials when we bring our mighty Savior with us, depending on His wisdom, guidance, instructions, strength and providence; because the Lord will provide according to everything HE has promised in His covenant with us. God doesn’t lie, HE will do what HE says HE will do for His children, so we do have an amazing everlasting hope in our God. The blessings of God’s covenant are being poured out everyday and are evidence of HIS faithfulness and we still have more blessings ahead when Jesus returns, we have an “expected end”.

Also, GOD WILL END all the evil and wickedness in this world and He will subdue all people, all nations and even all the devils under His great power and authority permanently forevermore.

Jeremiah 29:10-14
“For thus saith the LORD,
THAT AFTER seventy years
be accomplished at Babylon
I will visit you,
and perform My good word toward you,
in causing you TO RETURN to this place.

For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the LORD, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you AN EXPECTED END.

Then shall ye call upon Me, and ye shall go and pray unto Me, and I will hearken unto you. And ye shall seek Me, and find Me, when ye shall search for Me with all your heart. And I will be found of you, saith the LORD: and I will turn away your captivity,

and I will gather you
from all the nations,
and from all the places
whither I have driven you,
saith the LORD;
and I will bring you again
into the place whence I caused you
to be carried away captive.”

John 16:33
“These things I have spoken unto you, that in Me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.”

Acts 14:21-22
“And when they had preached the gospel to that city, and had taught many, they returned again to Lystra, and to Iconium, and Antioch, Confirming the souls of the disciples, and exhorting them to continue in the faith, and that we must through much tribulation enter into the kingdom of God.”

Revelation 21:7
“He that overcometh shall inherit all things; and I will be his God, and he shall be My son.”

Isaiah 11:9
“They shall not hurt nor destroy in all My holy mountain: for the earth shall be full of the knowledge of the LORD, as the waters cover the sea.”

Psalms 37:11
“But the meek shall inherit the earth; and shall delight themselves in the abundance of peace.”

(All caps “HE” and “THOU” is God the Father)
(Capital “He” is Jesus Christ the Son)

Hebrews 2:8
“THOU hast put all things in subjection under His feet. For in that HE put all in subjection under Him, HE left nothing that is not put under Him. But now we see not yet all things put under Him.”

1Corinthians 15:22-28
“For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ shall all be made alive. But every man in his own order: Christ the firstfruits; afterward they that are Christ’s at His coming.

Then cometh the end,
when He shall have
delivered up the kingdom to GOD,
even the FATHER;

when He shall HAVE PUT DOWN
ALL RULE and all authority and power.

For He must reign,
till HE hath put all enemies under His feet.

The last enemy that shall be destroyed is death. For HE hath put all things under His feet. But when HE saith all things are put under Him, it is manifest that HE is excepted, which did put all things under Him.

And when all things
SHALL BE SUBDUED unto Him,

then shall the Son also Himself

be subject unto HIM

that put all things under Him,

that GOD may be all in all.”
