At the bottom of this page I have provided a link to an article in the BreakingIsraelNews website which describes in a positive manner the probable re-institution of animal sacrifices at Passover this year. “Pascal Lamb Could Be Sacrificed On Temple Mount For First Time in 2,000 years”
This re-institution of the animal sacrificial system for the forgiveness of sins or any type of “cleansing” is really, really, really BAD! And that’s a major understatement; it is an abomination to GOD that will make people desolate (unto eternal damnation if not forgiven of).
The purpose of the animal sacrificial system under the Old Testament earthly sanctuary was to get justification, which is the forgiveness of past sins, but it was only a credit system which would finally have to be ratified and redeemed by the only thing that could and can erase sins. That ratification came for them at the resurrection of their promised Messiah, the Lord Jesus Christ Who would come and die for them and us.
Jesus Christ appeared before GOD the FATHER in the heavenly sanctuary to make His blood offering for sin. He was sacrificed once for all. Jesus was raised up and resurrected for our justification (the forgiveness of past sins).
Romans 4:25
“Who was delivered for our offences,
and was RAISED again FOR OUR JUSTIFICATION.”
Jesus is in the heavenly sanctuary every day acting as our High Priest and He makes intercession, mediation and perfected offerings for us which includes prayer and the giving (the administering) of His Spirit along with the SPIRIT of His FATHER (they’re are joined together into one spirit, the Holy Spirit).
It is by the daily administration of GOD’s Holy Spirit through the offerings of Jesus Christ that we are now daily justified and forgiven of our past sins under the New Covenant, “the new and living way”.
To go back to the old system is to stop this “new and living way” of the Holy Spirit by the blood of Jesus; it is an abomination and I believe it is the abomination of desolation spoken of by the prophet Daniel. The first fulfillment of this was at the destruction of Jerusalem in 70AD, a terrible destruction, but nothing like the second final fulfillment of the tribulation period before Christ’s return.
Mark 13:18-20
“And pray ye that your flight be not in the winter. For in those days shall be affliction, such as was not from the beginning of the creation which GOD created unto this time, neither shall be. And except that the LORD had shortened those days, no flesh should be saved: but for the elect’s sake, whom HE hath chosen, HE hath shortened the days.”
The first fulfillment came because they didn’t recognize their Messiah and they rejected Him. By these practices some Jews & Christians are ignorantly (or willfully) rejecting Jesus Christ again. Please separate yourselves and don’t get involved with these third temple sacrifices and priesthood observances; to do so is under the risk of GOD’s judgement and wrath.
HE has sworn to send stronger delusions to all the people who have rejected HIS truth, and they will believe those lies to their own eternal damnation.
2Thessalonians 2:9-12
“Even him, whose coming is after the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders, And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved. AND FOR THIS CAUSE GOD shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie: That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness.”
When GOD the FATHER tore apart the vail in the earthly sanctuary between the holy and most holy place; that ended the system HE had established to be temporary until the time Jesus would be offered once for all.
Hebrews 9:10 “Which stood only in meats and drinks, and divers washings, and carnal ordinances, imposed on them UNTIL THE TIME of reformation.”
To do and to be involved in these practices is to reject the Lord Jesus Christ and His perfect atoning sacrifice. To be in agreement with and to participate in this animal sacrificial system is NOW AN ABOMINATION and it will make them DESOLATE because they are rejecting their Messiah completely.
Isaiah 66:3-4
“He that killeth an ox
is as if he slew a man;
he that sacrificeth a lamb,
as if he cut off a dog’s neck;
he that offereth an oblation,
as if he offered swine’s blood;
he that burneth incense,
as if he blessed an idol.
Yea, they have chosen their own ways,
and their soul delighteth in their ABOMINATIONS.
I also will choose their delusions,
and will bring their fears upon them;
because when I called,
none did answer;
when I spake,
they did not hear:
but they did evil before MINE eyes,
and chose that in which I delighted not.”
The apostle Paul warned the Galatians about this situation and warned them if they sought the forgiveness of their past sins / justification and salvation by the old system’s carnal commandments and priesthood (which GOD the FATHER ended); they had fallen from grace, they lost salvation and Jesus Christ. Those Galatians still had an opportunity to confess and repent of this sin and to receive forgiveness because Paul said he was travailing and laboring in childbirth again until Jesus Christ was formed in them and would come back into them (by the Holy Spirit) and they would be GOD’s children again. (Galatians 4:19 “My little children, of whom I TRAVAIL IN BIRTH AGAIN until Christ be formed in you”)
Paul wasn’t talking about the Ten Commandments or the moral law because those are valid and binding under both time periods. Here he was specifically speaking of outward circumcision and the rest of the carnal ordinances and commandments (the whole law under the Old Covenant).
If they performed outward circumcision they would also have to perform animal sacrifices. However by doing those things for justification is an abomination. The Galatians did fall from grace as long as they were unrepentantly sinning against GOD by their disobedience to the New Covenant laws which are based on better sacrifices than those (Hebrews 9:23-24).
Those sacrifices and offerings were just symbols and not the true things they represented. Do you see how abhorrent it is to GOD for anyone to choose the symbolic placeholder over HIS Son Jesus Christ?! That’s how GOD can compare this behavior to flat out idolatry in Isaiah chapter 66. The Galatians were ignorantly being just like Cain, not offering what GOD required of them but making up their own way. Jesus warned many of the Jews of this too.
Jesus said this to them:
Mark 7:7-9
“Howbeit in vain do they worship Me, teaching for doctrines the commandments of men. For laying aside the commandment of God, ye hold the tradition of men, as the washing of pots and cups: and many other such like things ye do. And He said unto them, Full well ye REJECT THE COMMANDMENT of GOD, that ye may keep your own tradition.”
Galatians 5:4
“Christ is become of no effect unto you,
whosoever of you are justified by the law;
ye are FALLEN FROM GRACE.”
Hebrews 9:23-24
“It was therefore necessary
that the patterns
of things in the heavens
should be purified with these;
BUT THE HEAVENLY THINGS THEMSELVES
WITH BETTER SACRIFICES THAN THESE.
For Christ is not entered
into the holy places made with hands,
which are the figures of THE TRUE;
but into heaven itself,
now to appear in the presence of GOD for us”
Hebrews 8:1-3
“Now of the things which we have spoken
this is the sum:
We have such an High Priest,
Who is set on the right hand
of the throne of the MAJESTY
in the heavens;
A minister of THE SANCTUARY,
and of THE TRUE tabernacle,
which the LORD pitched,
and not man.
For every high priest is ordained
to offer gifts and sacrifices:
wherefore IT IS OF NECESSITY
THAT THIS Man HAVE
somewhat ALSO TO OFFER.”
Paul called these perversions of the New Covenant “another gospel” “which is not another” because GOD established it but under the Old Covenant only and not under the New Covenant. Animal sacrifices are PROHIBITED under the New Covenant (Isaiah 66:3)
Galatians 1:6-7
“I marvel that ye are so soon removed from HIM that called you into the grace of Christ unto another gospel: WHICH IS * NOT * ANOTHER;
but there be some that trouble you,
and would PERVERT the gospel of Christ.”
The animal sacrificial system was ended as was the Levitical priesthood for justification (the forgiveness of sins); it was changed from Levi back to the original priesthood of Melchizedek under the blood of the Lamb, Jesus Christ, and to the only original true tabernacle sanctuary in heaven. Animal sacrifices were only an earthly fleshly symbol which only represented the Messiah, they were not the actual Messiah. That’s because a perfect sinless man was the only acceptable atoning sacrifice and that’s why Jesus came into this world as a flesh and blood man after the seed of Abraham.
Hebrews 2:16-17
“For verily He took not on Him the nature of angels; but He took on Him the seed of Abraham. Wherefore in all things it behoved Him TO BE MADE LIKE UNTO His BRETHREN, THAT he might be a merciful and faithful high priest in things pertaining to GOD, TO MAKE RECONCILIATION FOR THE SINS OF THE PEOPLE.”
Nothing but the blood of Jesus can erase and forgive sins that included all the Old Testament believers who were saved. Jesus ratified all their obedience to the Old Covenant and redeemed them with His own blood when He ascended into heaven and presented Himself and His perfect blood offering to GOD the FATHER in the heavenly sanctuary. The Bible explicitly tells us He didn’t do this on or in an earthly altar or sanctuary; Jesus made His blood offering in the original true heavenly sanctuary on the holy altar GOD made, not man.
Hebrews 10:4
“For it is not possible
that the blood of bulls and of goats
should take away sins.”
Hebrews 8:1-3
“Now of the things which we have spoken
this is the sum:
We have such an High Priest,

Hebrews 7:12
“For the priesthood being changed,
there is made of necessity a change also of the law.”

“Which was a figure for the time then present, in which were offered both gifts and sacrifices, that could not make him that did the service perfect, as pertaining to the conscience; WHICH STOOD ONLY in meats and drinks, and divers washings, and carnal ordinances, IMPOSED on them UNTIL the time of reformation.”
Hebrews 10:1-4
“For the law having a shadow of good things to come, AND NOT THE VERY IMAGE of the things, can NEVER WITH THOSE SACRIFICES which they offered year by year continually MAKE THE COMERS THEREUNTO PERFECT. For then would they not have ceased to be offered? because that the worshippers once purged should have had no more conscience of sins. But in those sacrifices there is a remembrance again made of sins every year. For it is NOT POSSIBLE that the blood of bulls and of goats should TAKE AWAY SINS.”
Hebrews 13:9-12
“Be not carried about
with divers and strange doctrines.
For it is a good thing that
the heart be ESTABLISHED WITH GRACE;
not with meats,
which have not profited them
that have been occupied therein.
WE HAVE AN ALTAR, WHEREOF

which serve the tabernacle.

whose blood is brought into the sanctuary
