While I have a deep respect and love for my brothers and sisters in Christ, all my teammates and fellow laborers in the churches, out of my greater love for God, His truth as well as to all of you; I must say this:
Christmas Facts to Consider:
1. Jesus was not born on December 25th.
2. Most Christian leaders and Christians say that Jesus was born on December 25th.
3. People know the truth but lie anyway; that’s a sin against God’s laws.
4. Some Christians are celebrating a lie, there are still some who don’t realize it, but many do, especially those leaders who were trained in seminary schools. We know it is a sin to lie or to celebrate a lie. But even worse is the possibility that this might cause others to lose their faith because Atheists who know the truth about Christmas are using it as an example to show that Jesus is just another Pagan god.
This is not an exaggeration. You can find the video “Zietgiest” on YouTube and see how they are making their case. We know this is impacting our children because we know it is happening to our high school students and college students who have been taught these lies at church. What’s our children’s defense against what the Atheists are saying?
The answer is that each of us must be brave enough to confront the lies being taught in our churches. Christ died to save the souls we are responsible for losing because of false teachings. We must accept responsibility and repent. Our church leaders are wondering why they are losing our young people; yet those same leaders don’t see the connection.
Why Does This Matter?
Revelation 22:13-16
“I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end, the first and the last.
Blessed are they that do His commandments,
THAT THEY MAY HAVE RIGHT to the tree of life, AND MAY enter in through the gates into the city.
For without are dogs, and sorcerers, and whoremongers, and murderers, and idolaters, AND WHOSOEVER LOVETH AND MAKETH A LIE. I Jesus have sent mine angel to testify unto you these things in the churches. I am the root and the offspring of David, and the bright and morning star.”
“People who believe they aren’t bound under the moral laws of God are saying they are not sinning. They are calling God a liar and they probably don’t realize it! Because If you’re not under the law, how can you be a sinner?
Sin is defined as being the breaking of the law. If the law didn’t exist, then it wouldn’t be possible to be a sinner. If we refuse to acknowledge God’s laws as being binding or applying to us, how can we continue in confession and repentance like Jesus taught us to do in the Lord’s Prayer? How can we be saved?”
Here is a good study and visual layout of the biblical facts surrounding the birth of Jesus Christ and of John the Baptist who was six months older.
